Our Doggie Daycare is not a Free For All where large groups of dogs stay in one enclosed area for the entire day. The daycare dogs join the boarding dogs in daily activities and rotate through activities and rest time continually throughout the day. Dogs are always matched with a few other appropriate dogs with a similar activity level and play style.

Off Leash Hikes in our three acre fully fenced forest. Hiking groups are carefully grouped by age, activity level and play style. Dogs who don’t appreciate the company of other dogs will hike individually.

Play Time Dog social dogs are carefully matched with a few compatible dogs to play, wrestle and run around in a fenced in play area together. Dogs who prefer their own company have individual play and exploration with humans only. We do not have large groups of dogs together all day in the same enclosed space.

Swimming For dogs who love swimming we have a fully fenced 21′ x 51′  Canine Splash Pool with attached 40′ dock for seasonal fun. There is stair access for dogs to easily get in and out of the pool as well as a dock for dogs who prefer to jump right in just like those amazing Dock Diving dogs. For dogs who are still on the fence about swimming, we have a creek where they can enjoy walking in cool creek water while keeping their paws on the ground.

Enrichment Our rotation of activities throughout the day provide opportunities and outlets for dogs to do “dog things” safely and appropriately. Off leash movement, running and exploring, lots of trees to keep up with peemail, social time with other appropriate dogs for social dogs and individual time of activities for dogs who prefer their own company, social time with humans, scent trails, exploration and investigation, water time, hanging out and just relaxing in nature, rest time, etc. Even feeding is done differently here, ask us how. Sure, we’ll stuff a Kong or give your dog a food puzzle if requested, but there is so much more to enrichment than stuffing a Kong.

Reinforcement of Known Cues Cues such as Sit, Wait, Come are reinforced frequently throughout the day as the dogs participate in their various activities. For dogs still learning these cues there are many opportinuties for practice and generalization.

After a full day of fun and games, your dog will be content to go home rested, calm and ready to curl up at your feet.

$35 + HST a day includes supervised play time and an hour long group nature hike
